about us

mission

The mission of the Full Gospel Interdenominational Church is to share the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ around the world, serving both our local and world-wide community.

It is the objective of the church to reach others with the life-changing truth of God’s Word; to care for the Church Body; to set up youth and elderly outreach programs, ministerial conferences, and seminars; to ordain members into the ministry and send them forth; to establish churches of like faith; and to appoint missionaries to foreign lands to build churches, clinics, and schools.

We work to reach lost humanity for the advancement of the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ.

“And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following…”  Mark 16:20

beliefs

The following comprise the Scriptural beliefs of this church and its members.

THE HOLY SCRIPTURES

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament is the divinely inspired word of God, as represented by the Authorized King James Version of the Bible.

THE GODHEAD

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three manifestations — Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

THE WORK OF JESUS CHRIST

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal, Only Begotten Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His death and the shedding of His blood on the cross.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God.

We believe that Healing and Deliverance from sickness are provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers.

THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the divine Teacher who assists believers to understand and appropriate the Scriptures.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is instrumental in the bestowal of spiritual gifts to every believer.

We believe firmly in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and the personal experience of the infilling of His power with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

THE FALL OF MAN-KIND

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God; but that in Adam’s sin the human race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God.

THE PLAN OF SALVATION

We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal repentance by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that Water Baptism is the next step of Salvation. We believe in Water Baptism by immersion, and that all who repent should be baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.

THE LOCAL CHURCH

We believe that the local church is a part of the Body and the espoused Bride of Christ and is solely made up of born-again and Holy Ghost-filled persons.

We believe that the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament Scriptures.

We believe in the autonomy (self-government) of the local church, free of any external authority or control.

We believe in the unity and servanthood of the Local Church expressed through the example of Christ.

We believe in supporting the Local Church through tithes and offerings.

SEPARATION

We believe that all the saved should live in such a manner as not to bring reproach upon their Savior or the Church.

THE SECOND ADVENT OF CHRIST

We believe in that blessed hope, the personal, imminent return of Jesus Christ, who will rapture His church.

THE ETERNAL STATE

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the saved to eternal life and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment.

FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS

We believe that God has ordained the family, which consists of husband and wife, as the foundational institution of human society.

We believe that human life begins at conception and that the unborn child is a living human being.

LOVE

We believe that we should demonstrate love for others, not only toward fellow believers but also toward those who are not believers.

MISSIONS

We believe that God has given the church a great commission to proclaim the Gospel to all nations.
